Products?


All of our products are built in-house and are strictly related to sport. We are serving our customers with in-play live visualizations, as well as sports statistics widgets and raw data provided by our SportsAPI. All the features are created by using new technologies and best practices around the process of software development.



What role will you take on a team?


We are currently looking for experienced talents who would like to join our R&D group and work with us to solve complex problems in a simple way!

Your role as EM requires quality engineering experience and great management skills to guide and coach the individuals in your engineers' teams and help them grow and develop proper skills. 


You will spend your time mostly on the following:

- process management and technological improvements (~50%)

- people management work (~40%)

- recruitment and administrative tasks (~10%)



Your responsibilities:

  • Actively foster healthy teams
  • Provide personal support, onboarding and regular 1:1 meetings
  • Cost tracking and management skills
  • Keep the headcount and skills according to the needs in cooperation with a recruitment team
  • Keep improving the entire software development life-cycle
  • Support the exchange of technical experience between teams
  • Take an active part in creating a technological development roadmap
  • Determine processes and metrics to ensure products are market-ready
  • Cooperate with Product, IT, Architecture, DevOps and CTO



Our expectations:

  • Have 5+ years of experience building modern web applications in a commercial environment (software development background)
  • Have 2+ years of experience in managing team and individuals: performance evaluation, facilitating meetings, guiding career paths as Team Lead or Engineering Manager
  • Experience in identifying people’s needs and talents
  • Have well-balanced results and people orientation
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and fluent in English (B2 at least)
  • Experience with architecture and software design patterns
  • Excellent communicator within-team but also being able to communicate quickly and succinctly with your peers and Senior Leadership
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and delivering
  • Understanding of how APIs are used within web development and how they can be exposed externally
  • Ability to create an organization that understands how to balance technical debt vs. business goals
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility


Would be your advantage:

  • Languages including TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Experience with frontend technologies (e.g. Vue.js, React JS)
  • Experience with software testing and test automation
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (mainly Scrum and Kanban)
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMq



How do we work?


We work in self-organizing Scrum teams. Test writing and code refactoring are our daily bread.

We are taking care of the technological debt and the quality of the code.

We plan our Sprint goals every 2 weeks and use OKRs every quarter of planning.

We speak both Polish (internally) and English (with our partners).

We work in hybrid mode with flexible hours, from home or the office in Katowice (no dress code).
