PRODUCTS?

All of our products are built in-house and are strictly related to sport. We are serving our customers with in-play live visualizations, as well as sports statistics widgets and raw data provided by our SportsAPI. All the features are created by using new technologies and the best practices around the process of software development.

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU TAKE ON A TEAM

We are looking for an experienced developer ready to step beyond pure coding and take on a broader role at the intersection of backend engineering and AI. As our AI Platform Engineer, you will work cross-functionally with R&D, Finance, Product, Data and Sports teams - identifying where AI can solve real problems and building the integrations that make it happen.

You are not a data scientist or ML researcher. You are a hands-on engineer who understands AI tools deeply, builds things that work, and leaves solid documentation behind. We use Cursor daily - being fluent in AI-assisted development is a plus, not a curiosity.

You will spend your time mostly on:

• PoC development and AI integrations (~60%)

• Research and evaluation of AI tools (~20%)

• Documentation and knowledge transfer (~15%)

• Internal meetings and analyses (~5%)

Technologies / tools you will be using: Node.js, Python, Type Script, Docker, REST API, MCP, n8n, Git, Proxmox, Cursor.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research, evaluate and select AI tools and integrations relevant to the needs of various teams across the organization (R&D, Finance, Product, Data, Sport)

• Design and implement AI integrations and automation pipelines in JS/TS and Python

• Build PoCs end-to-end: from problem definition, through implementation and testing, to documentation and team handoff

• Set up and maintain development environments (Linux, Docker, Proxmox) for PoC needs

• Monitor and manage AI tool licences and software subscriptions

• Maintain security standards across integrations and APIs

• Create clear technical documentation and actively transfer knowledge to teams

• Stay current with the AI ecosystem and bring relevant innovations to the company

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a backend developer or automating QA

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js)

• Solid knowledge of Python

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic or equivalent)

• Ability to deliver PoCs independently - from scoping to working prototype to documentation

• Comfortable with Linux environments and Docker

• Experience in designing and integrating REST APIs

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a low need for hand-holding

• Communicative English at B2 level or higher

Would be your advantage:

• Experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, MCP)

• Knowledge of Proxmox or similar virtualisation tools

• Experience with automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier)

• Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot)

• Interest in or knowledge of sports statistics and data

• Familiarity with fine-tuning or evaluation of language models

• Understanding of MLOps or AI Ops concepts

We work in hybrid mode with flexible hours, from home or from our office in Katowice (no dress code). You will have a high degree of autonomy — we care about outcomes, not micromanagement. • Salary ranges: CoE 11 000 – 17 000 PLN gross

• Hybrid work model: 2-3 days/week in the office in Katowice

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

Only 3 short stages ahead of you:

• Screening – video call with Recruiter (30 min. in Polish)

• Technical task – short practical task focused on AI integration or PoC (estimated 3-4 hours)

• Final interview with VP of Technology & Innovation and HR – meeting in the office or remote (60–90 min. in Polish)
