As an SAP BTP RAP Architect/Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications using the RAP framework in a cloud environment. Your role will involve customization, configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP RAP applications to meet client requirements. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to security standards, conduct testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing Applications: Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using the RAP framework in the cloud environment.
2. Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure SAP RAP applications to meet specific client requirements.
3. Integration: Integrate SAP RAP applications with other SAP modules or third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow.
4. Data Modeling: Design and implement data models using Core Data Services (CDS) for SAP RAP applications.
5. UI Development: Create user interfaces (UI) for SAP RAP applications using SAP Fiori or other UI technologies.
6. Security and Compliance: Ensure SAP RAP applications adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
7. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimizations for SAP RAP applications running on the cloud/BTP.
8. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, conduct integration tests, and perform quality assurance activities.
9. Documentation: Document technical specifications, design decisions, and development processes.
10. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
11. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices.
12. Support and Maintenance: Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for SAP RAP applications deployed in the cloud environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in SAP BTP RAP development and architecture.
• Minimum of 2+ years of SAP BTP Extension Development Experience.
• Good knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD Pipeline setup and product shipment preferred.
• Knowledge of open standards like Cloud Foundry will be appreciated.
• Strong business processes knowledge in SAP Transportation Management is advantageous.
