Responsibilities:

• Maintain data within a warehouse environment supporting delivery of quality data outputs.
• Administer, Configure, Patch, Upgrade Relational and NonRelational DBs (Mongo and MS SQL server)
• Knowledge and experience with configuration management tools
• Monitor database performance, conduct regular performance tuning, optimize queries for maximum efficiency
• General understanding of ETL processes and related tools
• Have a good understanding of data platform best practices to achieve economies of scale, cost reduction and efficiencies
• Backup and recovery methods
• Migration of databases from legacy systems to cloud data platforms.

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor degree (IT field of study)
• 5 year(s) of experience as DBA
• English – good written and verbal as we work with international teams on daily basis
• Mandatory technologies: Mongo DB and MS SQL Server
• Flexibility to participate in on call rotation shift

Nice to have:

• Experiences with Azure Cloud
• Scripting, Automation experiences
• Previous experience working in a SRE/DevOps team
• Development experiences (Python)
• Experience with monitoring solutions via DataDog
