Senior Portal Architect

Our customer is a leading German producer of customized solutions for the self-supply of solar-powered electricity. This includes photovoltaic, energy storage systems as well as cloud technology systems helping individuals to become energetically independent.

Job description

• Creation and maintenance of architecture documentation for the designated subsystem (portal platform and other portals, incl. App)
• Design of new features and further development of existing features
• Analysis of requirements of the product management department and the tPOs (technical product owner)
• Creation of concepts/blueprints for the features prioritized by the tPOs
• Creation of concepts for the technical requirements for the designated subsystem
• Technical clarification of interfaces to other teams
• Responsible for monitoring, testing and improving the performance of the designated subsystem
• Responsibility for other non-functional aspects of the subsystem such as availability, reliability, resilience and security
• Continuous modernization of the designated subsystem (IoT platform) in the form of technology assessments and analyses
• Participation in the architecture community of practice and collaboration with the system architects of SENEC
• Creation, presentation and support of architectural decisions

Key skills

• Technologies: React, Spring Boot and databases – Experience with SingleSPA would be desirable

• Very good knowledge and experience in flexible software architectures for web applications

• Very good knowledge and experience in technical coordination with other teams

• Very good knowledge and experience in the technical analysis of requirements and conception of architectural solutions

• Very good experience with the documentation of architectures – concrete experience with arc42 would be desirable

• Good knowledge and experience in micro-services and micro-frontends

• Good knowledge and experience in web applications, security best practices

• Knowledge and experience in cloud architectures and with specific CSP/cloud providers, especially Azure

• Knowledge and experience with K8S/AKS and GitOps (ArgoCD)

• Experience with facilitating meetings and decision-making processes with many stakeholders
