Lead Software Engineer (LangChain, TS, NestJS)

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in LangChain and extensive experience in NestJS and TypeScript to lead the development of an AI-first platform designed for investment and advisory workflows. This role requires a backend-focused leader who will own the backend architecture, guide the engineering team, actively contribute to solution design, enhance delivery speed, and focus strongly on integrating AI functionality using LangChain and Azure AI services.

What You Will Do

• Lead backend development and set the technical direction of the platform

• Own and evolve backend architecture for scalability, modularity, and performance

• Integrate AI components using LangChain / LangGraph and Azure AI Services

• Guide and mentor engineers, providing technical support and code reviews

• Collaborate with product and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Drive delivery, ensuring high code quality, reliability, and maintainability

• Implement CI/CD workflows and enforce engineering best practices across the team

• Own backend observability, security, and system health in production environments

Must-Have Experience

• Expert-level TypeScript and NestJS

• Proven experience with LangChain / LangGraph in production or advanced prototypes

• Deep understanding of LLM-based applications and prompt engineering

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and TypeORM

• Proficiency with Azure services: Event Hub, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Container Apps, AI Services

• Hands-on experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD

• Strong grasp of secure API design: JWT, RBAC, and multi-tenant access patterns

• Solid foundation in backend system design and architecture

• Confident leadership, collaboration, and communication skills

• Fluent and confident English (B2 +) is a must
