Job description
SolDevelo is now looking for an ingenious and ambitious person for DevOps Engineer position.
You will be working on delivering a mobile-based reading solution aimed at educating children in developing countries. Your responsibility will be crafting a cloud native backend that will handle and process large scale data for reporting purposes. You will also be cooperating with other teams in order to facilitate integration of web and mobile apps with the backend.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience on a similar position
- Experience with tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Development
- Knowledge of AWS - at least S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda (AWS Glue will be an asset)
- Very good practical knowledge of the Python programming language
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with scaling large systems and dealing with large data sets will be a plus
- Knowledge about Big Data analysis technologies will be a plus (Apache Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, Cassandra, HBase)
- Good written/spoken English
