Job description
SolarWinds is looking for Senior Test Engineer who will help building and testing SolarWinds solutions.
Our team is responsible for delivering improvements for on-premise installed products and sharing technologies across products, also in other business pillars.
Senior Test Engineer will perform analysis, preparation and implementation of automated tests on multiple products. You should collaborate with the team to create test documentation and educate other team members on using the automated tests. You may also perform manual tests on a technical level, find and submit technical issues, and validate resolved issues. The candidate should have strong technical skills and experience in software testing (ideally with background in automated tests of web applications). The position requires a self-motivated individual with strong sense for detail, focused and with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.

What would you do?
- Develop and execute a functional test automation strategy that delivers measurable increases in QA efficiency
- Design, implement, optimize, integrate and test new features or application components
- Actively contribute to architecture, design, code reviews and unit/automated testing
- Support building frameworks and tools to streamline development activities
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of released products
- Coach less experienced colleagues
- Maintain strong ownership on product quality and development practices
- Work collaboratively with the development team, and other departments, to build compelling products
Qualifications
What is required for this position?
- Strong knowledge of Testing/Quality Assurance processes and procedures
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience in command of C# and .NET Framework
- Experience with web application testing
- Solid understanding of the development processes
- Knowledge of SQL
- Flexibility to learn quickly new small tools and incorporating them into whole solution
- Demonstrated creativity and intelligent thinking
- Experience with unit testing and good understanding what unit tests are good for.
- Fluent English and good communication skills. English is used on daily basis.
