Responsibilities:  

 • Building automations for standard, repeatable tasks and identifying improvements in manual processes following a sprint-based approach

 • Creating new and extending existing functionalities of our Cloud Management Platform by writing Python plugins
 • Creating code for automated image build on AWS, Azure and VMWare (using HashiCorp Packer and Puppet)
 • Building integrations with external systems using REST APIs
 • Producing technical documentation for the developed automations
 • Validating technical feasibility of architectural designs
 • Delivering presentations and demos of developed automations
 
Key Skills:

• Fluent with at least one cloud platform (Azure or AWS or GKE) and general cloud concepts
• Strong automation focus and development culture
• Fluent with scripting languages (Bash or PowerShell)
• Basic understanding of Python or other programming languages (i.e. C#)
• Experienced in using REST APIs
• Good understanding of provisioning technologies (ARM or CloudFormation or Terraform)
• Good understanding of configuration management technologies (Puppet or Ansible or Chef)
• Good understanding of Git source control
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum practices
• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket)
