💡 The role:

We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Team Leader with a proven background in data engineering and a passion for building scalable data solutions. This is a remote role based in Poland, where you will lead a team of up to 10 members and work closely with both customer technical teams and internal project teams to deliver high-quality data engineering solutions.

In this role, You will:

• Lead meetings with customer technical teams and internal project teams, and guide team members to achieve their full potential.
• Break down business requirements into clear technical specifications, estimate effort required for project delivery, and ensure project turning points are met on time and within budget.
• Lead technical quality aspects, troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues, and perform solutions handover, knowledge transfer, training, and workshops.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices, serving as a technical advisor to clients.
• Provide recognition and regular feedback, identify needs for hiring, education, and certification, and help coordinate team integration activities.

✅ What we need to see from you:

• 8+ years in industry, with a focus on data engineering or BI engineering using Microsoft Azure technologies. Demonstrable experience in a Team Leader or Tech Leader role, with at least 4+ years in an indirect leader role and/or 2+ years in a direct leader role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data technologies (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Power BI, Analysis Services, Microsoft BI stack, and SQL dialects like T-SQL). Knowledge of Azure Fabric is a plus.
• Working experience in agile environments, applying SAFe and Scrum frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
•  Proficient in Polish and English.
