DevSecOps Engineer 🔒
We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join Softwareact. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and reliability of our software development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for integrating security practices into our software development and deployment pipelines. Your primary focus will be on automating security testing, implementing secure coding practices, and ensuring the overall security posture of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure software development and deployment pipelines.
- Develop and automate security testing processes, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code analysis.
- Implement and enforce secure coding practices, standards, and guidelines across the organization.
- Conduct security reviews and assessments of system architecture and infrastructure components.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay informed about the latest security vulnerabilities, threats, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with development teams to address security issues and provide guidance on secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure the security and availability of production environments.
- Assist in the design and implementation of security controls and measures for network infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Utilize Network Engineering knowledge to enhance the security and performance of our systems.
- Apply ServiceNow Application Development expertise to integrate security practices into ServiceNow workflows and processes.
- Utilize Database Tools to implement and maintain secure database configurations and access controls.
- Leverage Power BI Dashboards to analyze and visualize security-related data for effective decision-making.
- Possess CEHv11 certification to demonstrate a strong understanding of ethical hacking techniques and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevSecOps or similar role.

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEHv11) certification to demonstrate expertise in ethical hacking techniques and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
- Experience with security testing tools and frameworks such as OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Burp Suite, or similar.
- Solid understanding of common security vulnerabilities, threats, and mitigation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their associated security services.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Network Engineering knowledge to enhance the security and performance of our systems.
