About the company
We are a Polish software development agency specializing in the newest, cutting-edge technologies, working mostly with startups from all over the world, but mainly the USA. We don't specialize in one particular industry, so if you're looking for diversity, we can ensure it.

For almost a year, we have had an in-house design team that cooperates closely with our developers to deliver a mindful experience and gorgeous interfaces. If you are interested in the beginning of the design team in Software Mansion, check out an article about it on our blog.

About the position
We would like to enrich the design team with a UX/UI Designer to help our development team with delivering thoughtful and gorgeous-looking projects. You will join our design team to work closely on:
  • clients projects – you can expect cooperation with clients from various fields like fin-tech, education, entertainment, and financial to name but a few,
  • internal ones such as our website, App.js website (the conference organized by our company), our open-source projects (e.g. React Native tools and Membrane Framework), and others.

It would be great if you wouldn’t mind getting involved in a few projects at the same time.

We mainly require from you:
  • good communication skills (in English as well) – you will be in close cooperation with the clients and the team, conduct meetings or conversations around many topics,
  • strong visual and interface skills - it means the ability to create well-crafted interfaces and knowledge of how to prepare them for the development,
  • practical skills in UX – we expect that you know the whole UX path starting from general research, going through information architecture and flow maps, ending on wireframing,
  • prototype skills - ability to create clickable prototypes, use correct micro-interactions and animations to simulate natural screens behavior,
  • workshop facilitation – we expect you to conduct workshops with clients or on internal projects, use appropriate methods, and efficiently manage meetings with confidence,
  • ability to work independently – we need to know that you can manage the project by yourself, but it doesn’t mean that this is a standard for us, our design team supports each other.

It would be great if you have some skills around:
  • managing style guides and design systems - understand how they are created and how to manage them, knowledge around design and code components would be useful,
  • knowledge of the Lean UX process – our projects are managed in an agile way, we require the same approach for the design (mindset, methods, management),
  • team leading/project leading – it would be beneficial if you were a  lead before to guide the clients and our team effectively through every design phase.

Salary offered for this position is:
  • 8000 to 12000 PLN/B2B as UX/UI Designer,
  • 12000 to 16000 PLN/B2B as Senior UX/UI Designer.

Perks and benefits:
  • training budget – you decide what to spend it on: trainings, books, English lessons, conferences,
  • a fridge full of food – sandwiches, cereals, yoghurts, fruits and vegetables – all available in our kitchen,
  • sports card – possibility to obtain an OK System sports card,
  • private healthcare – get professional medical care for you and your family,
  • 26 days of paid vacation leave,
  • equipment of your choice – most modern stuff with MacOs or Linux on board,
  • chillout space – are you a fan of rocket league, VR, table soccer or billiard? Let's play! You can relax on the deck chair as well.
  • team events – get to know the company at monthly All Hands sessions accompanied by pizza, sushi & beer, connect with new coworkers over a game of Rocket League and forget about the office at seasonal parties! We organize and co-finance team integration in and outside of the office.

Currently, due to the pandemic situation, you can work 100% remotely. We hope, however, that in the (nearest) future we will be able to return to our office. At that point, you will enjoy flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely from time to time
