About the company
We are a Polish software development agency specializing in the newest, cutting edge technologies, working mostly with startups from the USA, Poland, and other European countries. Our portfolio includes projects from many industries, like fintech, education, entertainment, broadcasting, or financial, to name but a few.

We don’t have QA Specialists so far, and you will be the first person in this position. Due to that fact, your role is especially important. However, in the future, we plan to build a QA team, and we hope that it will happen with your help.

About the position
Your first project will be for a rapidly expanding American e-commerce company, where you will closely cooperate with a US-based and our internal team. The team of developers is creating an efficient frontend with great SEO and UX. There is also a CMS on the backend. They use technologies such as: React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python/Django.

We would like to enrich this team with a QA Specialist. This position entails a great freedom of action, so we expect you to be an independent, meticulous, and detail-oriented individual. We also require to have some experience in a similar position as well. You should have some experience in at least one project where you were the main person responsible for QA. If you've had the opportunity to be a team leader, it's even better.

Above all, we require from you:
  • good communication skills (in English as well) – you will be in close cooperation with the Product Team and Project Managers. Your tasks will mostly embrace setting the requirements with the Client and keeping an eye on business aspects,
  • independence – you have to organize your work on your own. You will be responsible for taking care of quality assurance procedures (choosing tools, analyzing data, being involved in release, etc.),
  • good analytical skills – you will work with complex business requirements, and you should be able to help the development team with ensuring the quality of the software we create,
  • precision, and attention to detail – you will execute manual tests and report bugs to software engineers.

It would be great, if you will possess additional assets such as:
  • familiarity with BA tools (for example, Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.),
  • experience with writing automatic E2E scripts, using tools such as Cypress or Selenium,
  • knowledge of at least one programming language.

Perks and benefits:
  • training budget – you decide what to spend it on: training, books, English lessons, conferences,
  • a fridge full of food – sandwiches, cereals, yoghurts, fruits, and vegetables – all available in our kitchen,
  • sport packages – possibility to obtain an OK System sports card,
  • equipment of your choice – most modern stuff with MacOs or Linux on board,
  • chillout space – are you a fan of rocket league, table soccer, VR or billiard? Let's play! You can relax on the deck chair as well.
  • team events – get to know the company at monthly Q&A sessions accompanied by pizza, sushi & beer, connect with new coworkers over a game of Rocket League and forget about the office at seasonal parties! We organize and co-finance team integration in and outside of the office.

Currently, due to the pandemic situation, you can work 100% remotely. We hope, however, that in the (nearest) future we will be able to return to our office. At that point, you will enjoy flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely from time to time.
