About the project

Customer’s Arch and Data team owns Enterprise Data Platform (Data Lake) to serve as a single stop shop for all data across the firm. Vision is to use Lake to eliminate Point to Point system integration to a more consolidated data source and data distribution platform. Enterprise Data Platform is geared to enable that. Currently there are multiple Transaction & Position systems that are feeding data into the Platform and going into next year, there is a plan to on-board hundreds of data sources and leverage the pipe to perform data standardization and enrichment before the data is made available for Client Consumption from Canonical System. The idea is to build solution which allows: Data Ingestion (DaaS/Digital UX, DaaS Billing, QFC, and other regulatory program) and Data Enrichment.

YOU ARE

A candidate possessing such essentials as

Hands-on experience as a Java Engineer (minimum 3 years)
Understanding financial terms (Ideally background in finance / regulatory reporting)
Experience in Cloud technologies is beneficial (Azure and/or GCP)
Hands-on SQL Skills and different DB engines
Knowledge about Data Lake concepts, data partitioning and security
Understanding of Data Lineage strategies
Fluent communication in English
Understanding of Agile methodologies and desire to work in an Agile environment
