Our customer is mixing digital and physical worlds via overlaid 3D imagery. The company serves healthcare, retail, sports, and entertainment businesses in the United States. Your highly visible contributions to design and development of our client's systems will help in advancing and wide adoption of augmented reality technologies and will be used by millions of people around the world in the years to come.
YOU ARE
- Having at least 5-year experience in designing high-performance, secure, multi-tenant cloud services
- Write unit, integration and load tests
- Experienced in a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Skilled in message bus such as Kafka/NATS/RabbitMQ/etc.
- Experienced in deploying and scaling high-traffic services using Amazon and/or Google cloud
- Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Elixir/Erlang, Python, NodeJS, C++
- Familiar with Linux, docker/containers, shell-scripting, GIT, and network protocols
- Good at cloud security, authentication, and authorization in the cloud
- Fluent in common programming design patterns and multi-threaded programming
- Having practice in developing OS middleware services using native Android/AOSP systems such as IPC/Binder, system policy, etc.
- Experienced in Android & GNU Makefiles, ADB, SQLite, and shell scripts
- Hands-on with version control & continuous integration tools such as Git/Gerrit and Jenkins
- Having a firm grasp of Agile software development methodology and practices
- Experienced in leading architecture and design; driving collaboration within the team for industry-standard deployments of highly available systems
- Able to work in a fast-paced and agile environment and manage multiple priorities on a daily basis to produce the desired outcome
- Highly attentive to details with strong analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude
- A technology enthusiast who enjoys expanding the knowledge and share it with others
- A team player with good interpersonal/communication capabilities
- Good at time-management and always looking for new challenges
- Experienced in protobufs and networking protocols (as a plus)
- Familiar with MMO backend or game server development (as a plus)
- Having a concept of Elasticsearch (as a plus)
- Demonstrating Upper-Intermediate English level
YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
- Collaborating with software and product teams to design and implement secure, highly-scalable cloud services that support the operation of and remote management of the client's device
- Writing unit, integration, and load tests
- Our DevOps engineers closely to continually deploy and verify new releases
- Resolving all tasks at hand within the specified timeframe, reporting to a Project Manager if the timescale cannot be met
- Effective usage of the feedback from business users to keep the team connected to any issues before they become bigger problems. Feeding and translating the feedback into development tasks to improve the quality of the deliverables
- Ensuring that security and risk management are the basic foundations for design, decision, and delivery
- Contribution to the continuous process development and loyalty to the team whilst maintaining a high-performance level
