About Project:
Our Client is one of the biggest European based network television, which is also a leading entertainment player with a strong e-commerce business. They generate billions of videos views per month with its online platforms where work on improvements and innovations are constantly being proceeded. Having on board many national and international blockbusters, the company stays on top of broadcast televisions but it also constantly push into digital business areas. Modern UI design, reliability, high performance, easy extension, and mature architecture will enable bringing the solution to life.
You will be a part of media and distribution development team that works on a solution for content distribution for digital products and platforms. Main goals set for the team include:
You will be a part of media and distribution development team that works on a solution for content distribution for digital products and platforms. Main goals set for the team include:
- updates of the codebase for the client partners’ products one of which is a large cable provider from Germany that can be considered as HBO GO for the Polish market
- whole system migration from old to a new cloud-based environment
- codebase support and troubleshooting and fixing ongoing issues
Responsibilities:
- Programming in Node.js based on best practices
- Writing reusable, testable and efficient code
- Ensure technical efficient solutions
- Develop software products based on AWS solutions (optional)
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Node.js
- Solid understanding of OOP/OOD
- Experience with different concurrency problems and patterns
- Strong experience with API development
- Good English skills
- Readiness for travels: up to 25% of time (Munich, Germany)
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS (ECS, SQS)
- Experience in Scrum/Kanban and Jira
