Softjourn is looking for a Senior Java Developer to develop a project from scratch!
About the project:
The project objective is to build from scratch a new meeting planning service that will be tightly integrated with Google and Outlook calendars.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong experience with project technologies
- Experience with designing and building production cloud-based Java solutions from scratch
- Design patterns knowledge for microservices
- REST API layer development
- Experience with background services design
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience with AWS stack (SQS, SNS, RDS etc.)
- Solid experience with Linux
Nice to have:
- Experience with Google and Office365 API
- Experience with security for enterprise applications
- Experience with complex data synchronization
Responsibilities:
- Define the architecture for the backend modules
- Develop complex tasks from the project WBS
- Establish code standards and best practices
- Performance optimization
- Assist team members
