Softjourn is looking for a Database Developer to join our team!
About the project:
It is a financial technology company, that together with its partners, provides the hardware, technology, infrastructure and support services to enable businesses of all types to accept and process electronic payments. In addition, the Company's proprietary accounts receivable cloud automation software (ARC) that facilitates the efficient exchange of documents and payments between suppliers and customers.
The RnD project that will evaluate/assess/design moving from Aurora/MySQL to Aurora/PostgreSQL DB.
Involvement duration:
Involvement duration:
Part time involevement (up to 50% so around 20 hours a week, can be less) for around 1-2 months with possibility to be prolonged.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with high-load systems and big DBs (100M+ data records in a table)
- Experience in data migration and schema modification on large data sets
- Good experience with Amazon Aurora
