Automation Architect
This position will serve as Architect for Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence which is global organization delivering project touching areas of process automation, machine learning, software development and cloud computing.
Although not managing any staff this is a position of leadership. You will drive technical decisions, deployments and enhancements and quality improvements across variety of solutions which CoE delivers. You will provide technical leadership in development using technologies like C# (Console, WPF, ASP.Net Core), Python (Machine Learning, API), MS Azure - Logic Apps, Functions, MS SQL, VMs (Windows + Linux), Storage Accounts and emerging Power Platform.
Due to nature of automation operations you need to understand variety of integration possibilities and authentication types. You would need to present and explain your design to IT Security and Cloud CoE teams when required.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design
- Governance of projects designed in flight
- Evaluation of emerging toolsets
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture:
- Work closely with the enterprise architecture team and Cloud CoE and follow SNI architecture standards
- Serve as the IA CoE global subject matter expert for Azure cloud and C# development
- Assist in the drive for continued development and improvement
Solutions Architecture:
- Establishes policy and strategy for the selection of solution architecture components, and co-ordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.
- Following industry best practice develop standards and guidelines for the delivery of applications
- Heavy involvement to include hands on activity during solution design and development
Systems design:
- Undertakes impact analysis on major design options and trade-off. Makes recommendations and assesses and manages associated risks.
- Reviews others' systems design to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
- Overseeing CI/CD pipelines creation, custom Nugget packages creation and Power Platform connectors usage
Other Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and provide technical mentoring and guidance within the IA CoE team
- Other duties as assigned and driven by business need
Location: POLAND
Education: Degree Level or above in a business or information science discipline
Experience:
Typically, will have held roles in the IT Development workspace for 5 years
- Experience in C# programming (ASP.NET Core, EF Core, Selenium, .NET Framework + .NET Core)
- Experience working with MS Azure
- Experience with AGILE project methodology and practice
- Experience with SAP will be an asset
- Experience with Power Platform will be an asset
