Are you a developer looking to work on the project of your career? SmartBear is seeking Senior Full Stack Software Developers who are ready to make an impact. Our next generation load testing tool, that makes load testing simple and fast, needs developers like you! We are looking for a smart, hands-on, proactive developer who is looking to come in and help us with the evolution of our product.
We want someone that is eager to learn new things, as you won't be involved just in front-end tasks, she/he will be also working in the development of browser extensions and backend modules. A person that has a problem-solving mind who, just based on a small piece of information, can find out the way to resolve complicate problems, just with her/his strengths debugging and researching at any platform or technology. Someone flexible, not concerned about the framework or technologies to use, just looking for taking challenges and deliver the solutions/features with the best quality possible.
Responsibilities:
- Development of extensions/add-ons for Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
- Design and implementation of new features (frontend and backend)
- Lead the definition of new functionalities
- Implement PoC for tentative features
- Coordinate implementation of new feature, deployments and automations with DevOps
- Manage communication on critical support cases or demos of new features with key customers/trials
Requirements:
- Full Stack development experience
- 5-7 years of experience in web development
- Strong knowledge on JavaScript
- Performance/monitoring tools user experience (Development experience nice to have).
- Chrome extensions knowledge
- Docker and experience with Linux command line
- Empathize development thinking (Strength understanding user/customer needs)
- Work well autonomously, as well as in a cross-functional team
- A startup-person: hands-on, proactive, sees their role as more than just a job
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Nice to have:
- Web testing experience (Record&replay approach, i.e.: Selenium)
- Scrum/Agile methodology knowledge
- Java experience/knowledge
- Python experience/knowledge
- Perl experience/knowledge
- AWS EC2 basic knowledge.
- Jquery experience
- Jenkins
- SaaS development experience
