This opportunity is for a DevOps Engineer to work on our BitBar product. We are looking for an experienced developer who will take part in building a system controlling, managing, and enabling the devices cloud we provide to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop and maintain the features of this system, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the application. As our customer offering is very diverse, your work will span across both desktop and mobile devices.
You will be working with an experienced DevOps team responsible for:
- Management of the physical (Linux and macOS) and cloud (AWS/Azure) infrastructure
- Management of the network infrastructure
- Working with OS virtualization (VMware, Parallels)
- Supporting the development, test, and production environments
- Automation and provisioning
- Supporting R&D and QA teams in software development, deployment, and automated testing and monitoring
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with some of the below:
- Experience with building VMs and containers
- Hands on experience with switches, routers and WiFi access points (Industrial grade)
- Good knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Experience with at least one of the Cloud solutions (Azure or AWS)
- Experience with Jenkins
- Good knowledge of automation and provisioning (Terraform,Ansible)
- Good understanding of networking concepts
- English at least on B2 level
Nice to-have:
- Experience with HashiCorp Packer
- Experience with Windows and macOS virtualization.
- Experience with iOS and Android
- Experience with Kubernetes
