Job description
Sizmek is looking for an experienced Front-end Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming and lead the design and development of a new innovative and challenging projects. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Writing well designed, efficient code.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Working experience in front-end development (3+ years)
- Good understanding of modern JavaScript (ES2015+).
- Experience in TypeScript is a plus.
- Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, mainly AngularJS, Angular, and React.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Good understanding of tools like NPM, Webpack, PostCSS, SASS, ESLint, TSLint.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Experience in Functional Programming would be a great plus.
