Right now, we are on the hunt for outgoing and confident automation testers with solid experience.

Responsibilities

As a QA automation engineer in the E2E Team, you will be responsible for Silvair’s lighting control system integration testing. We have built a special environment which enables us to put together all components created by development teams, and test them with the E2E tests that are collective work of our testers and developers. Due to a continuously growing number of tests, we need someone to take good care of those already in place - so that they remain reliable and efficient at all times.

The new E2E team will be responsible for:

designing, developing and maintaining automated E2E tests
ensuring that all E2E tests are properly executed, and giving regular feedback on their status to QA lead
monitoring and analysing E2E test logs; reporting bugs and tracking them to resolution if necessary
maintaining and upgrading the E2E test environment from both the software and hardware perspective
upkeeping and enhancing the E2E Continuous Integration System
working closely with the development team to help them build E2E test cases they need for their functionalities
actively participating and contributing to the Testers Community in Silvair

Essential job requirements

strong background in tooling or QA automation (2+ years of experience)
experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies
good programming skills, preferably in Python
strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals, such as BDD
an outgoing personality which will be needed in proper communication with development teams and product owners

Nice to have

experience with electrical circuits
degree level qualifications in a technical related subject
experience in an Embedded environment
understanding of mobile testing
proficient working with Gherkin
