Overview
As a member of our engineering team, you will participate in the development and maintenance of the "Silvair Platform" and “Connected Services” - that is cloud infrastructure, services, appliances and web applications designed to make mesh network management easy, fast and reliable.
You will work with up-to-date technologies/concepts such as microservices, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, Swagger, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, JWT, AWS, Git, Terraform, Jenkins.
Responsibilities
- being involved in the development and maintenance of the backend layer
- ensure clean, modular and reusable code - main technology being JavaScript
- submitting architectural and quality improvements to the code
- unit testing, code reviewing
Essential job requirements
- advanced in JavaScript
- solid experience in Node.js
- experience with RESTful APIs
- experience in unit-testing and code review
- personal desire to be up to date with advancing technologies
- team player attitude
- demonstrate a can-do approach
Nice to have
- experience in a microservices ecosystem
- experience in document database (we use MongoDB)
- AWS, Terraform knowledge
- experience in Python
- CI tools proficiency (we use Jenkins)
- experience in Angular and Typescript
- an eye for good UX/UI design
- experience in IoT domain
