Senior Java Developer

Sii is looking for two Senior Java Developers to join long-term projects for international clients. One is a U.S.-based leader in observability and monitoring solutions, known for its high-performance products used by top enterprises worldwide. The other operates in the dairy industry, delivering advanced, data-driven systems that support production, logistics, and quality control on a global scale.

Your responsibilities

• Leading the design and development of complex, scalable web solutions using OOP principles

• Utilizing web development technologies including Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot

• Applying test-first approaches such as test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) beyond standard unit testing

• Collaborating closely with product managers to define software functionality

• Working with architects and UX designers to implement system architecture and design

• Engaging with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on software requirements and solutions

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, or a related field

• At least 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years focusing on a commercial software product

• Expert-level knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot (Python is nice to have)

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders
