Job description
The main goal of this project is to develop distributed and highly parallelized BigData processing pipeline which processes a massive amount of data (both structured and unstructured) in near real-time. You will be leverage Spark to enrich and transform corporate data to enable searching, data visualization, and advanced data analytics. Each team member will closely cooperate with DevOps, QA and Product Management teams in a Continuous Delivery environment.
Tasks:
- Building distributed and highly parallelized Big Data processing pipeline which process massive amount of data (both structured and unstructured) in near real-time
- Leverage Spark to enrich and transform corporate data to enable searching, data visualization, and advanced analytics
- Building a strong working knowledge of related areas, the teams and the technology functionality Interfacing with lead IT BA, the business BA and our Business users
- Being responsible for a successful design and implementation of a high-performing and easily maintainable global reporting solution
Required skills:
- Experience in Scala or Spark (Spark SQL; Spark Data Frames)
- Data processing skills and reconciliation for huge amount of data
- Knowledge of Hadoop stack: YARN, MR, Sqoop, Hive, Kafka, Impala
- Hands on development experience with Jenkins or Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket and Git/Stash,
- Very good English skills
- Solid background in Financial Services will be an advantage
