Job description
Currently we are developing a team of .Net developers to work on various projects for the banking sector. The SDLC Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the development tools, controls and processes used by over 8,000 engineers. We need to balance uplift and ongoing improvement of the production environment and existing internal tooling, as well as bringing in industry-standard solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring application teams across the bank are using the latest modern SDLCs
- Minimising dependencies on legacy platforms
- Develop, test and support features for globally deployed web application
- Follow best practices throughout the SDLC process
- Participate in team-wide designs and code reviews
- Engage with internal business-facing development teams to provide technical engineering excellence and guidance
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of C#/.Net development experience
- A deep understanding of Visual Studio 2015/2017, SDLC and development toolchains
- Working knowledge of SVN and Git source-control
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team player, able to build effective relationships
- Energy, self-motivated and independence to manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience across the SDLC
- Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
