Online interview
We are looking for a Java Test Developer to join a team working for a leading e-payment services provider. The objective is to deploy the Global Online payments solutions. Products, that we build, process millions of transactions every day, ranging from solutions like Visa, Master Card, Pay Pal to country specific payment methods.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Agile team, ensuring and improving product quality on Java solutions
- Developing automated test suite with Selenium, RestAssured and BDD frameworks
- Maintaining DevOps solutions (Linux)
- Analyzing test results and submit corresponding defects/tasks for developers
- Extending, improving and maintaining existing test framework
Challenges:
- Work with the agile development teams on daily basis to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the testing process to find opportunities for improvements
- Take charge and oversee the release process in the assigned teams
- Work with an experienced squad of QA Engineers to improve quality processes and testing strategy on a global/company level
- Endorse the quality principles across squads and bring the quality-first mindset
- Develop a testing part of the continuous integration and deployment process
- Provide a vision of quality for the product.
Required skills:
- At least 3 years of working experience in scripting/programming languages: JAVA, Groovy
- At least 3 years of working experience in Databases: SQL advanced
- At least 1 year of proven experience in agile testing in Scrum/Kanban, under BDD
- Good knowledge of testing aspects (both manual and automated), test data generation and management, reporting
- Solid functional testing knowledge
- At least 1 year of experience in using at least one tool for test automation: Selenium Web driver, Selenoid, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Postman
- Knowledge of tools: Cucumber, JBehave, Junit 5, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, Bitbucket, Kibana, Grafana
- Experience in non-functional testing, using JMeter, HP LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, InfluxDB
- Practical knowledge of test tool evaluation and setup for test management purposes, with any of these tools (or similar): Spira, HP ALM/ QC, Parasoft, Zephyr
