Role Overview:

As the Lead Nest.js Developer, you will spearhead the development of applications tailored to our diverse clientele. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive project initiatives, ensure code quality, and contribute to architectural design decisions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact by delivering high-quality solutions to our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of customer-facing applications, prioritizing feature enhancements and integrations.

Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Drive innovation through research and development initiatives, particularly in the IoT space.

Participate in product workshops and contribute to strategic planning sessions.

Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Required Skills:

At least 3+ years experience in commerce projects

Strong proficiency in Node.js with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.

Experience with modern ECMAScript standards and programming patterns.

Proficient with version control systems, particularly GIT.

Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (B2/C1+).

Proven track record of leadership and project management in a software development environment.

Curiosity and a drive to understand the underlying principles of technology.

Positive attitude, with a passion for achieving results and driving success.

Experience with Nest.js and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.

Strong proficiency in Typescript

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker.

Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT tokens.

Agile/Scrum approach experience

DataDog/APMs/Equivalent of any observability tool
