Integration Developer

Position:

We are actively looking for an Integration Developer to join our dedicated integration team. Signal OS is a company specialising in writing applications and systems in the proptech industry.

Do you want to help us develop and maintain integration between systems and applications? We are looking for an enthusiast who has commercial knowledge in the field of integration analysis and architecture.

A specialist in this position should be able to effectively cooperate and communicate with a team of developers. We want the developer to also be able to analyze and take the initiative to propose solutions to the client.

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in commerce projects
• Describing the integration architecture and process of communication with external systems
• Communication with developers responsible for the implementation of the architecture
• Transforming customer requirements into tasks for developers and DevOps.
• Checking the possibility of achieving the functionalities required by the client through a given access control system in the building
• Knowledge of good code review practices
• Good knowledge of the operation of access control systems in buildings
• Good knowledge of Nest.js, Node.js and TypeScript with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code
• Proficient with version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude, with a passion for achieving results and driving success.
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English (B2+).

Nice to have:

• Commercial experience with access control systems
• Work in a similar position in the real estate or proptech industry
• Curiosity and a drive to understand the underlying principles of technology
• Knowledge of authentication standards (JWT tokens)
• DataDog/APMs/Equivalent of any observability tool
• Good knowledge of RabbitMQ and AMQP protocol
• Knowledge in Stack TCP/IP
• familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Agile/Scrum approach experience

Soft Skills:

• Communication: Especially important for remote roles, clear communication is a must between web development team members, whether that be back-end developers, user experience researchers
• Self-learning: Curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning go a long way when it comes to obtaining new knowledge to grow your skill set. Keeping up with the latest technology trends is important in a constantly changing space. 
• Problem-solving: In web development, you are bound to face a challenging problem, whether that be identifying and correcting coding errors or fixing bugs. This will require critical and creative thinking to come up with different solutions.
