We're on the lookout for a Senior Embedded Developer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining code that powers the functionality of Residential Gateways and WiFi Extenders. These products, built on OpenWRT, span multiple technology domains, including the Linux Kernel and Networking (WiFi, DSL, etc.). You'll be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from defining functions and design, through coding and test automation, to documentation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing WiFi solutions based on IEEE 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi Alliance specifications.
• Developing software within the Linux system (experience with OpenWRT is a plus).
• Creating embedded applications.
• Writing startup and hot-plug scripts using BASH.
• Automating tests with Python.
• Debugging both your own code and that of others.
• Troubleshooting network and wireless issues using tools like Wireshark.
• Working with Universal Boot Loader (U-Boot).
• Participating in platform bring-up.
• Contributing to architectural decisions.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract 

• UoP: 14 000 – 20 200 PLN gross/month
• B2B: 100 – 145 PLN net/hour + VAT 

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working with Linux/Unix systems.
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems, especially in resource-constrained environments (ARM/MIPS processors).
• Experience in developing or modifying Linux device drivers.
• Hands-on experience with test automation using Python.
• Knowledge of PHY layers in communication systems.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GIT.
• A solid understanding of networking and wireless technologies, such as WLAN, TCP/IP, and firewalls.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Familiarity with OpenWRT.
• Experience with tools like GCC and debuggers (e.g., Valgrind).
