Mobile Quality Assurance Lead (Medical Devices)

We are looking for a Mobile Quality Assurance Lead with experience of mobile phone and medical device projects.

You will be joining a dynamic team at our client, a global organization specializing in digital health solutions. This role will lead the mobile QA team responsible for validating and testing mobile products and medical devices for clinical trials using a state-of-the-art clinical trial solution. You will work closely with product teams, business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and performance of mobile devices and applications used in clinical trials.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Oversee the quality and performance of mobile phones and medical devices during the study onboarding phase, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Validation and Testing: Plan and execute test cases for mobile phones and medical devices, ensuring thorough testing of their performance, stability, and user experience.
• Impact Assessment: Analyze study specifications and collaborate with the Business Analyst team to understand the impact of new study configurations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to mobile and medical devices' quality during study onboarding and upgrades.
• Defect Management: Manage the identification, tracking, and resolution of defects to maintain quality and performance.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA activities, including test plans, test reports, and traceability matrices.
• Process Improvement: Provide feedback on testing processes and suggest improvements for future upgrades.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract 

• UoP: 18 000 – 24 000 PLN gross/month
• B2B: 130 – 180 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• 7+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, including 2+ years in a leadership role;
• 3+ years of experience in mobile application or SDK testing, which gives you a strong understanding of Android and iOS platforms;
• Openness to a hybrid working model: preferably 3 days in the office in Warsaw);
• Degree in a relevant field or have formal certification in quality assurance;
• Hands-on experience with mobile devices, emulators, and simulators;
• Work experience with medical devices;
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing, HTTP Proxy tools, and testing integrations and web services;
• Passionate about Quality Assurance with a deep understanding of QA theory, strategies, and proven experience in test planning, case design, and execution;
• Skilled in using test management tools (e.g., XRay) and defect tracking systems to ensure flawless performance;
• Strong communicator and collaborator, able to effectively lead cross-functional teams and bring together technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Great at mentoring team members, helping them develop, driving excellence and delivering high quality results;
• Proactive in managing tasks and setting priorities to achieve goals with efficiency and clarity;
• Fluent English (C1) to work effectively in a multinational team.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences, especially if you’ve worked on clinical trials;
• Global perspective—you’ve worked in large, complex organizations with international reach;
• Knowledge of regulated environments—GxP/SaMD experience would be fantastic;
• Familiarity with automation testing tools—and maybe even a bit of experience in supporting automation tests.
