    We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, who will join the infrastructure team as part of a growing software development unit. The team is building a new Engineering Experience infrastructure to help our client supply the best practical solutions and back-ends for the development and testing of its products. The infrastructure team will supply tools and process alignment to allow the rest of the engineers to do their jobs as smoothly as possible.


    What you will do:

    • Your main responsibility will be to provide stable and reliable infrastructure baselines for the Development and Test teams in collaboration with IT, from building to testing and observability/analytics;
    • Support and continuously improve the common environments used by Development and Test teams to smoothen the delivery pipelines;
    • Support the Development teams to grow and deliver healthy software by facilitating tools and process alignment;
    • Interact with distributed Development teams across several locations;
    • Help and Support developers and testers through training, mentoring, and problem-solving, continuously looking for improvements to ensure high standards of automation of all internal infrastructure;
    • Candidates should be able to apply analytical skills and independent judgment in designing software infrastructure.


    You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
    • Passion for quality and automation;
    • 4+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields;
    • Experience in working with Linux/Unix-like systems;
    • Python development skills, shell scripting;
    • Proficient with at least one infrastructure-as-code tool (e.g. Ansible, Terraform);
    • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD environments (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins);
    • Experience with Git version control;
    • General networking and wireless knowledge: TCP/IP, firewall, Wi-Fi;
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others;
    • Particularly good English skills in speaking and writing.


    Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

    • Experience with test frameworks and tools, such as Robot Framework or Pytest;
    • Docker or other relevant containerization technologies;
    • Experience with router/embedded device firmware (e.g. OpenWrt);
    • Experience with CDRouter (QA Cafe) or similar test appliances;
    • Experience with JavaScript/NodeJS.
