We are looking for a Cloud Application Developer, who will join the team working for a leading aluminum and energy company that builds businesses and partnerships for a more sustainable future. As a Cloud Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing software that is a competitive advantage to the business and truly differentiating to customers and employees comprising the entire software life cycle (design, development, test, release, and maintenance) and translating business needs into working software. We are looking for a specialist with a focus on cloud applications who will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications by leveraging cloud computing services. That includes building robust, scalable, and efficient applications that meet business objectives. As a Cloud Application Developer, you will contribute to the digital transformation of the organization by utilizing the features of cloud services to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guard rails;
• Ensure software programs and devices work together seamlessly, with a focus on integrating complementary technology into commercial software across functional
• areas;
• Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development ;
• Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions that operationally scale and are easily maintained;
• Provide options for how the solution could be evolved to provide even more value Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative design options that take the target environment, performance, security requirements, and existing systems into account;
• Ensure that technical solutions follow best practices, are reliable, are easily
• maintainable, and are scalable under sustained load;
• Maintaining Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing, creation, and deployment of cloud applications;
• Build and operate infrastructure, toolset, and deployment pipelines;
• Designing scalable and reliable cloud architectures, meeting requirements on performance, security, and availability;
• Integrating various cloud services to improve the functionality and capabilities of applications.

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• Experience with the technology stack of the project (Azure, Event-Driven Architecture, Databricks, Python, Java Spring, C++, Docker, Kubernetes);
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Expertise in technology and computer science;
• In-depth knowledge of platform architecture design;
• Eagerness to learn new tools and languages;
• Familiarity with cloud architecture and design.
