General Summary of the Position:

Troubleshoots Windows infrastructure and system problems.
Deploys, administers, and supports vendor and in-house applications and associated hardware. Performs
some customization, testing, and debugging on vendor-supplied utilities and enterprise applications.
Maintains necessary metrics and documentation. Provides technical proposals and recommendations to
various company organizations. Stays current with new technologies. Operates under moderate
supervision.

This role is an Office-Based
 
Essential Functions:

  • Provides Phone and In-Person end-user support, as required, using standard tools and processes. Meets
  • Response/service levels as determined by IT.
  • Client System Management - reimaging, replacement. 
  • Local Asset Handling – ordering, handover, retiring Assets in line with company policy, Keeping hardware tracking tool up to              date
  • Troubleshooting basic and intermediate IT Issues, escalating to advanced teams when required
  • Basic Server Administration – Windows and VMware ESX
  • New Employee On-Boarding, providing IT induction – Offboarding Leavers
  • Provides On-Site assistance for remote technical teams
  • Monitors performance and proactively administers assigned systems and in-house applications. 
  • Maintains data, software, and hardware security and emergency procedures.
  • Works with hardware vendors to provide corrective and preventive hardware maintenance.
  • Evaluates, installs and tests systems/network hardware and software.
  • Assists with on-going assessment and upgrading of systems and infrastructure.
  • Able to write user and system administration documentation.
  • Maintains/expands technical knowledge of system administration and engineering through self-study
        and structured courses.
 
Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Racking Hardware in Server room / Patch Paneling
  • Knowledge of system administration: Windows Operating Systems like Server2016/2019, Win10 and MS Office - Experience                with O365 beneficial
  • Knowledge of Virtualization technologies such as VMWare VSphere / Microsoft Hyper-V
  • UNIX and Linux would be nice to have although not essential

  • Good Polish and English communications skills, in oral and written form
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal with our internal customers
  • Basic Networking skills

Education and Experience Requirement:
Bachelor Degree in a Computing Discipline with at least 1-2 years of experience in IT
