WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Define and implement test strategy for our new product
- Participate in the Agile process as part of a cross functional engineering team, coordinating with product owners, software engineers and quality engineers in other teams
- Champion the quality of our products. Identify innovative ways to ensure the quality of the product
- Write and execute test plans and test cases, using frameworks to automate testing as much as possible. Work with manual testers as necessary. Document software bugs in issue tracking tool
- Ensure our test automation is fast, scalable, and robust
- Give visibility into the testing process via actionable quality metrics that help improve the product
- Contribute to the company wide testing strategy
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE TO START ON THIS ROLE:
- Solid grasp of software engineering principles, experience with test automation in diverse setups, and a willingness to learn new things
- 4+ years of experience working in a Quality Role
- Proven track record of choosing and setting up a test automation framework
- Able to recommend best practices and strategies for testing view, service, and data layers of an application
- Self driven, actively looks for ways to mitigate risks, prevent quality issues, and knows how to get things done
- Experience working with User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and writing test cases
- Great verbal communication and reasoning skills, including the ability to make a case for testability and testing technology in our code and collaboration with overseas partners
- Introduces the product team to industry trends and best practices from the QA community
- Our stack is comprised of microservices, workflow-driven batch processes and API integrations with external partners. Expertise in these areas is a strong plus

- Salary compensation: 12-15k gross (on the employment contract)
