Release and Deployment Manager (m/f/n)
We are looking for a Release and Deployment Manager (m/f/n) to join an international military-political organization.
The candidate is required to possess a valid NATO SECRET security clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Emerging technology monitoring
Supports monitoring of the external environment and assessment of emerging technologies.
Contributes to the creation of reports, technology roadmapping and the sharing of knowledge and insights.
Methods and tools
Provides support on the use of existing methods and tools.
Configures methods and tools within a known context.
Creates and updates the documentation of methods and tools.
Portfolio, programme and project support
Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
Uses recommended portfolio, programme and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports.
Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
Configuration management
Applies tools, techniques and processes to administer, track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes.
Assists with audits to check the accuracy of the information and undertakes any necessary corrective action under direction.
Release and deployment
Assesses and analyses release components for input to release scheduling.
Maintains and administers tools and methods for software delivery, deployment and configuration.
Maintains release processes and procedures.
Change control
Assesses, analyses, develops, documents and implements changes based on requests for change.
Ensures that operational processes are in place for effective change control.
Develops, configures and maintains tools to manage and report on the lifecycle of change requests.
Identifies problems and issues and recommend corrective actions
Requirements:
Education
A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience.
Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
Experience
At least two years practical experience performing release and deployment function in large IT environment/organization.
Working in collaboration with Change Management, Configuration Management, Verification and Validation Teams.
Training/Certifications:
ITIL (v3/4) Foundation Certificate.
Offer:
Type of work: on-site position in Mons, BE - relocation is required.
Type of contract: B2B with Shimi.
Rate: 70 - 75 EUR/h netto.
Project duration: until the end of 2026 (it may be possible to extend).
Start date: ASAP (notice period up to two-three weeks).
