The role

We are currently seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our stellar Engineering team. As a pivotal member of our core team, you will assume responsibility for designing, implementing, and delivering high-impact solutions. Your primary objectives will revolve around introducing novel features, implementing innovative functionalities, and optimizing performance. 


The role requires a visionary mindset and hands-on contribution, affording you significant autonomy in devising solutions and influencing problem-solving approaches. You should have a strong inclination towards ideal software design but a pragmatic approach to realistic implementations.

Where you’ll work

You have to be located in Poland to be considered for this position. You’ll have the flexibility to choose between remote work or working from our office in Warsaw.


What you’ll be doing

  • Working collaboratively within a specialized team to address high-priority deliverables across multiple teams and technologies.
  • Focusing on developing specifically tailored solutions to address complex and unclear problems within the realm of business responsibilities. This includes tasks such as optimizing applications and improving processes, with a constant emphasis on rigorous prioritization.
  • Defining technical solutions and streamlining operational processes to uplift the capabilities of the teams being partnered with.
  • Driving cross-team or cross-discipline initiatives to optimize beyond the immediate team scope.
  • Making independent technical decisions when faced with open-ended requirements, aiming to create a significant customer impact by deeply understanding the ongoing business context and technical goals.


What you’ll need

  • A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in .NET and Python coupled with SQL expertise. Working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript is highly desirable. 
  • Experience with cloud-native applications and services, including but not limited to databases, queues, and event buses, with a focus on AWS and Azure as preferred vendors.
  • Strong background in defining technical roadmaps for impactful multi-phase projects.
  • Experience in crafting cohesive designs involving multiple components that interact seamlessly across API or system boundaries.
  • Proficiency in successfully rolling out a component or major feature, coupled with the ability to reliably deprecate an existing system or feature. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to articulate thoughts with precision.
