Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who wants to join an outstanding engineering team that will develop a cutting-edge data platform in the insurance sector.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience as a business analyst
• Outstanding reasoning skills, allowing to break down complex problems into their atomic parts in a methodical manner
• Excellent ability to evaluate and gather information and ask the right questions
• Strong skills in analysing complex data sets
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Familiarity of different data formats (i.e. JSON, XML, Parquet)
• Strong soft skills allowing to navigate the topics through out multiple stakeholders
• Excellent English skills, both oral and written (C1+)

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience in the Insurance or Finance industry
• Experience with working with different data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, data mesh and modern cloud-native solutions
• Experience with data warehouse technologies, like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery
• Prior background in a software engineering role
• Domain Driven Design knowledge

As a part of the team you will:

• help to build a new generation data platform in the insurance sector
• act as a bridge between tech team and business stakeholders
• gather even the most minuscule requirements from diverse sources, including conversation with technical and non-technical stakeholders, data set analysis and more
• represent gathered requirements in an easily digestible manner for tech teams
• explain complex concepts in simple terms
• monitor the data trends and embrace innovation continually
