We are Semantive, a professional services company providing Cloud services. We are an AWS certified team of software engineers focused on Cloud native application development and software engineering. We work in an Agile way and pay a lot of attention to code quality, we do peer code reviews and use pair programming when appropriate. If you join us, you can expect to get proficient with AWS & Python and work in a challenging project delivered for some Fortune 500 companies as well as start-ups.
We are on a mission to build Data platforms in Cloud and Serverless applications that host a lot of data and run various analytical workloads. We are looking for talented Python Tech Leads, who want to embark on this mission with us and become a part of our growth.
What will you be doing?
- Leading a small team of engineers (~5-10 people)
- Working together with Engineering Managers and the rest of Leadership team in Poland and US
- Planning projects and successfully delivering them with the team
- Designing cloud solutions that run in AWS cloud
- Improving excellence of the team, processes, and practices within the company
- Working with customers towards a project’s success
- Working in the context of a larger software consulting team, delivering projects to Enterprise customers.
- Having responsible, but rewarding and fun role!
Must-have requirements:
- Past experience in a Team/Tech Lead leading a small team of software engineers (at least 2 years of experience)
- Excellent Python and software craftsmanship skills (more than 3 years)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Being a team player
- Desire to improve technical skills (in cloud engineering) and People and Leadership skills
- Native in Polish
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Microservices architecture
- DevOps skills
- Experience architecting/designing solutions that work as PaaS with Enterprise integrations and APIs
