The opportunity
We are currently looking for a Backend Developer to join our sellectra team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a backend foundation for our newly designed application.
Due to the high scalability of the end product, strong knowledge of API frameworks and microservices is advised. You will have a significant impact on our databases and internal tools, which we use to optimize and analyze the sales performance of Amazon sellers, as well as overall architecture costs.
As a general rule, we use the Google Cloud Platform and Python as the programming language in our solutions. However, JavaScript literacy would be a great asset.
The position is fully independent, and we expect from you your own ideas for project implementation. We support new solutions so we will be interested in your every idea. Apply if you want to create disruptive and efficient solutions.
Scope of responsibilities
- Setting up API on advised architecture (i.e., App Engine, Cloud Run, Compute Engine)
- Creation of new connections with the Amazon MWS API and Amazon Advertising API data source and control of existing ones using Google Cloud tools to download current data
- Expansion and coordination of Big Query databases, data processing
- Expansion of the Flask-based web application
- If you are also willing to start or continue work on the front end, we are open to teaming up.
Our requirements
- Skills to carry out the above tasks completely independently
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Experience with cloud application deployment (preferably GCP) in the production environment
- High Python and SQL literacy confirmed by completed projects
- Very good command of English (at least vantage, i.e., B2 level)
