Job description
MAIN TASKS:
- Developing and preparing documentation of test scenarios and test code, referred to the test development process
- Collaboration with Embedded SW Engineers and Architects to deliver high quality product
- Developing and executing thorough functional test plans
- Reporting, analyzing and verifying anomalies
- Leading or participating in reviews of documents, test code, test cases, designs and user documentation
- Providing status reports as requested and work estimates
- Maintaining adequate interaction to deliver assigned tasks as prioritized appropriately
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and
- Experience in firmware testing in Python (preferred) or C++
- Ability to quickly understand existing codebases and refactor when required
- Ability to work with emulators and hardware tools
- Experience with ARM architecture, ST, and Renesas processor families.
- Understanding of RS-232, USB, Ethernet and packet based communication protocols
- Experience with simple peripherals such as A/D, D/A, timers & general purpose IO
- Would be a plus to know standard version control systems
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
