Position: Solution Architect
Form of employment: B2B Contract
Localization: REMOTE (2 days per month on-site in Cracow)
Start date: ASAP
Estimated end date: 31.12.2019
For our Client we are looking for Solution Architect
Main task will be:
- Taking part in creating, developing and providing the quality (towards correctness and presence) of the tools for financial reporting;
- Cooperating closely with business managers and end users by consultations about their expectations and needs;
- Coordinating, optimizing and automating processes of data visualization, using MS Excel and VBA;
- Improving data warehouse, which is based on MS SQL technology;
- Precise test conducting;
- Preparing technical documentation.
The Candidate should have:
- 3+ years of documented practice in Business Intelligence and data visualization field;
- Proficiency in MS Excel, e. g. creating advanced formulas and pivot tables, connectivity to the external data sources;
- Know-how of Visual Basic for Application (VBA);
- At least 3 years of experience in MS SQL (including SSAS, SSIS, SSRS);
- Knowledge of MDX (cubes);
- Ability to implement business knowledge into technical, automated solutions;
- Availability to work on-site (two days per month only);
- Independent, flexible, team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude;
- Superb analytical and problem solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Very good English skills (at least B2) - written and spoken.
It would be a plus if the Candidate had:
- Skills in IBM Cognos TM1 and Microsoft Power BI;
- Practice in SCRUM framework.
