Search Dates is a popular dating site that's grown to millions of users. Our team is distributed globally. We get the work done but don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’re looking for another backend pro - someone who likes that we don’t a lot of meetings, and everyone’s too busy shipping to look over your shoulder and make sure you're doing the same. You'll enjoy the freedom to express yourself and have a say in the design and function of what you build.

Responsibilities:

• Work on the backend of user-facing web application, with millions of requests per day
• Be involved in the whole development cycle: implementing and testing functionality, as well as deploying and monitoring it in production
• Work closely with frontend and QA team
• Work with a modern tech stack

Requirements:

• You have at least 4 years professional experience as backend engineer with Ruby and RoR
• Similar experience with mysql and / or other sql databases. 
• Experience working with few years old codebases, both monoliths and soa 
• good approach to cooperating with sysops teams 
• Have knowledge of English at a level that allows for easy communication

Nice to have:

• basic angular experience (our frontend is latest angular) or any other frontend framework 
• web security
• any other backend language experience 
• experience CI pipelines setup
