About our group:Are you passionate about Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing? We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join our team and help improve our cloud storage platform. LYVE is an edge-to-cloud mass storage platform from Seagate – built for the distributed enterprise to capture the unstructured data explosion. Cloud Storage-as-a-Service platform is an S3-compatible storage-only cloud that enables always-on mass capacity data storage and activation. It is designed as a simple, trusted, and efficient service allowing enterprises to unlock the value of their massive unstructured datasets. LYVE is a natural extension of Seagate’s leadership in mass data solutions, combining our mass capacity HDD innovation with deep storage industry knowledge to help customers activate more of their valuable data.

About the role - you will:

• Design, develop and maintain highly reliable and available distributed systems
• Participate in architecture, design, and code review
• Implement new features according to specifications
• Write unit and integration tests
• Participate in on-call issues investigation

Your experience includes:

• 10+ years within Cloud Software Engineering
• 4+ years within GoLang
• Distributed System
• Redis
• PostgreSQL
• Queues: Kafka, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, NatsIO
• NoSQL Databases: MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, CosmosDB, Clickhouse
• Communication and presentation capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in related discipline

• Kubernetes
• Terraform

Remote - Poland

Travel - 5%

This is hands-on position - at least 75% of time you will spend coding in GoLang
