We’re looking for a Senior Backend Java Developer who will join LiNeS – a team of skilled professionals developing an application used by DB Schenker’s Land Department. The team consist of nine people – backend developers, frontend developers, testers, business analyst and an architect – working together side by side using Scrum methodology.

Here's what you will do:
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Java Developer who will join LiNeS – a team of skilled professionals developing an application used by DB Schenker’s Land Department. The team consist of nine people – backend developers, frontend developers, testers, business analyst and an architect – working together side by side using Scrum methodology.

Here's what you will do:
- Develop new features
- Fix bugs and provide maintenance
- Write automated tests
- Cooperate within the self-organized Scrum team – participate in meetings, code reviews etc.
- Share knowledge and mentor others
Our requirements:
Must-haves:
- 5 years’ of experience in Java and Object Oriented Programming
- Proven experience with Spring and/or Spring Boot
- Good understanding of Relational Databases and ORM technologies, such as JPA and Hibernate
- Ability to write clean code
- Ability to develop well designed REST APIs
- Experience with building tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Spock, Junit or Mockito
- Experience with Git
- Professional proficiency in English (B2 at least)
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with Message Queues (ActiveMQ, SQS)
- Familiarity with work methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with CI/CD
- Familiarity with Microservice Architectures and AWS
