Role: DevOps Lead
Location: Kraków
Budget: +/- 20 k gross on perm (b2b an option as well)

Overview
You will be closely collaborating with engineering and hosting teams to assure promotion of components, solutions and releases between environments. The transition of processes to AWS will shortly finish that is why your role will play key-function in ensuring that all the changes were properly adopted and implemented.
You will manage workload and coordinate daily tasks of a team of two DevOps Engineers (in several month’s perspective the team shall grow to 4-5 people). Part of your job will be also to proactively identify and promote improvements that can be plugged in the unit and later shared with all the organisation.
Your workload will be divided into direct technical work (50%) and organisational functions (50%)
On the technical side you will be responsible for:
- Designing technical architecture of AWS solutions;
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for AWS services;
- Establishing and maintaining standard practices on specification, configuration and management of Linux based systems and solutions to support operation and growth within the company’s AWS data centres;
- Develop in-house solutions for microservices;
- Managing Continuous Integration solutions and deployment pipelines;
- Driving automation and orchestration within existing processes and frameworks;
- Managing Jira and Kanban processes;
As a Leader, you will also:
- Provide ongoing support to team members, empower them to keep getting better at what they are doing;
- Proactively come up with new ideas and confidently defend your standpoint;
- Provide line management;
Requirements:
- Proven experience on System Administrator / DevOps or equivalent role in Linux based environment;
- Grounded AWS and Linux systems expertise;
- Solid experience in maintaining large scale solutions (Software as a Service preferably);
- Practical knowledge of: Terragrunt / Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins;
- Good understanding of networking and security processes;
- Experience in leading / coaching / mentoring;
- GIT, JIRA;
- High interpersonal skills;
- Fluency in Polish and English
