The Role:
The Ecosystem Team is responsible for seamless integration of Sauce Labs with various third-party services and tools. Our mission is to design and build solutions that will help our customers to start testing quickly and reliably using the service and tools they like and are familiar with.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain our third-party plugins
- Build clean user interfaces
- Write services and bots for Slack and other popular platforms
- Build demos and write documentation
- Work closely with fellow engineers and the Product Team
- Work with the community to open source our plugins and tools
Job Requirements:
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5
- Knowledge of at least one programming language like Java, Go, or Python
- Experience in building UIs
- Some experience in building or at least integrating RESTful services
- Ability to write clean, self-documenting code which is easy to maintain and evolve
- Some experience with CI/CD systems like Gitlab
Nice to Have:
- A history of contributing to open source projects
- Knowledge of React, redux
- Previous experience in writing plugins for Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity
