Description
- Define migration approach
- Conduct functional and Technical analysis
- Perform migration mapping, transformation design and implementation using ETL tools
- Prepare test scenarios
- Offer functional support to the development and testing teams
- Support customers with the business continuity planning (define business process and flows during migration period)
- Elicit customer requirements and translate them into functional, data mapping/ transformation requirements and interface specifications
- Match between functional requirements and application system options/ functionality in an efficient manner
- Aligning functional specifications with the development team
- Serve as the functional and technical support point for the different testing phases (ST, mock ups, dress rehearsal etc.)
Desired Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science
- Knowledge and experience working within the insurance industry
- Ability to translate functional requirements to test scenarios
- Experience in Data Migration or Data Integration
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Expert level knowledge and experience with information systems (such as ERP)
- Ability to understand the data models and structures of complex technology systems
- Experience working with SQL
- PHP knowledge and experience
- Strong MS Office skills
- Experience with ETL (knowledge of K2VIEW system is an advantage)
- Experience analyzing and implementing interfaces between systems is an advantage
- Programming experience is an advantage
- Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in Life and Pensions.
- Project management experience on at least one migration implementation project is preferred
- Requirements gathering and documentation experience.
- Experience leading workshops with clients.
- Experience with configurable systems.
- Experience working with Policy Administration systems.
Travel Requirement: Occasional travel, both domestic and international (about 15%)
