Key responsibilities
  • Ensure all Requirements, Design, Interface and Output Documents are delivered on time
  • Review and Signoff all Requirement and Design Documents
  • Act as a Consultant in requirement and design workshops internally and externally
  • Manage and Engage with Lead BA/PD/PM on all project Actions, Assumptions, Risks, Issues, Decisions, Constraints.
  • Support Design Authority on End to End solution ensuring all design documents are in line with the overall solution
  • Review the Technical Design Specifications
  • Support Development throughout the build phase
  • Review the Test Scripts and support testing throughout test phase
  • Help defining acceptance criteria and high level estimates
  • Working to Sapiens processes & Sapiens best practices,
  • Provide clients with functional analysis and design advice guidance and consultancy in Sapiens solution throughout the project
  • Manage and participate in Peer Review activities, interacting with other Business Analysts, to ensure quality and completeness of requirement and design work
  • Configure/Support the configuration of the parameters that determine the functionality specified in the design documentation
  •  Support the planning of the Requirement Specifications and Design phase, including sizing, resource allocation, and phasing to allow the delivery of complete quality solution to cost and schedule
  • Ensure Product Material collateral is updated and presentable
  •  Support training sessions on the system and its product sets
  
Mandatory Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a business analyst
  • Experience in collaborative and agile working methods
  • Will have breadth of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience of supporting the design of end to end solutions
  • Will have demonstrated experience of implementing significant functional change
  • Experienced in full project lifecycle having been involved in numerous system implementation or enhancement projects
  • Strong knowledge of life and pensions administration systems is desired
  • Must be willing to travel to client sites (occasional international travel may be required for training and there is potential for travel to European clients in the future)
  • Fluent English – both writing and verbal, other European languages - An advantage 
  •  
Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years working as a consultant in a consulting firm
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working for a software provider
  • Pension/Life Insurance project experience including occupational pensions, personal Pension/Life Insurance, regulation, data migration of Pension/Life Insurance business, accumulation and draw down is essential
  • Fund scheme / investment platform experience is essential
  • Previous experience working with a policy administration system processing Pension/Life Insurance is essential
  • Will be able to demonstrate a real depth of knowledge of Pension/Life Insurance products
  • Experienced with working in an international insurance company – an  advantage
  
Preferred Educational Requirements
Candidates with one or more of the following qualifications are preferred:
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (International Institute of Business Analysis)
  • CII
  • ISEB ACII / FPC / AFPC or equivalents
